Misting Systems


The main advantages of ECS misting kits are their versatility, design simplicity and excellent build quality. They can be used to effectively combat both airborne dust and nuisance odours. For dust control, they serve as a complement to our foam systems and are very effective in certain situations - such as tipping/unloading areas.

For most odour control applications, we recommend applying our formulations via a misting system. This delivers the reactants in a very small particle size, allowing greater opportunity for the product to react with the odour casing molecules.

Our misting systems are ideal for use at:

• Composting sites
• Waste transfer stations
• Landfills
• Wastewater treatment plants

They would typically be installed around:

• Tipping/ unloading areas
• Perimeter fences
• Specific problem areas

Using a high pressure hydraulic system ensures that you get the coverage that you require and also means that you can have a large number of nozzles. Our kits range from 50 nozzles to more than 200 nozzles. Each comes complete with water pump, dosing pump, control panel, filters, nozzles, fittings and tubing. An ECS representative will help specify the right kit for your application in terms of the number of nozzles, nozzle size and level of automation and control.
